In order to really do the story of the coming of Luke I felt I needed to include the lead-up to this which includes the pregnancy. During this time and the time after his birth there were a tremendous amount of “coincidences” which occurred. A very good Jewish friend of mine told me that there are no such things as coincidences and, that it was Basheert – God’s way. After being pregnant with Luke I realised that she was right, everything happens for a reason, everything happens the way it is supposed to, and you cannot join the dots at the beginning of the journey, only when you have the benefit of hindsight. No matter how hard it is at the time.
