In order to really do the story of the coming of Luke I felt I needed to include the lead-up to this which includes the pregnancy. During this time and the time after his birth there were a tremendous amount of “coincidences” which occurred. A very good Jewish friend of mine told me that there are no such things as coincidences and, that it was Basheert – God’s way. After being pregnant with Luke I realised that she was right, everything happens for a reason, everything happens the way it is supposed to, and you cannot join the dots at the beginning of the journey, only when you have the benefit of hindsight.
